Education Pathways:

Education Partner - South Devon College

Players can study on a 1 or 2 year full-time football education programme including these academic options:

Academic Courses: Level 3
— NCFE Level 3 Diploma Sports Coaching
— BTEC Sports Science Level 3 Extended Diploma
— You will need a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above
— This must include Maths and English
— You could progress onto an apprenticeship, a degree, or employment


Academic Courses: Level 2
— Level 2 OCR Sport Science
— Level 2 NVQ Football (Activity Leadership)
— Equivalent to 4 GCSEs
— Vocational: combines industry skills with academic skills
— You could progress to a Level 3 pathway if you achieve an overall Merit and have attained
GCSEs in both Maths and English

- Professional or semi-professional football clubs
- Apprentiships or higher level courses


Exit Routes & Scholarships (USA):
— Pro:Direct Academy will be running trips from Easter 2019 to offer behind the scenes opportunities to witness the facilities and levels of play in US college/university soccer programmes.
— Scholarships offer a chance to experience the US education system if successful in gaining athletic and academic scholarship funding.
— Experience life on a US college/university campus: a once in a lifetime experience.
— Chance to showcase your football talent with US college/university coaches, players and educators.

Staff:

ROSIE KMITA - Head of PDA Girls
Rosie is Head of Girls for PDA and ensures that all of our girls teams enjoy a mix of performance, fitness and fun in their football, whatever the age group. She enjoys the perfect insight in to the modern game as she is also a full-time professional player with West Ham Women in the FA Women's Super League - the top division in England for women's football.

She graduated from the University of Hertfordshire after playing football and studying in the USA at Saint Leo University, one of Florida's top Universities.
After coaching at PDA London North she was appointed Head of Girls and enjoys trips overseas to countries such as Indonesia as a PDA Ambassador.

 - Head of Pro:Direct Academy Devon 
The former Eastleigh FC manager, experienced professional player with Swansea City FC, Exeter City FC & Torquay United FC.
